Remembering the early hypnotic 4x4 beats of Tuff Jam, Grant Nelson, Todd Edwards and Armand Van Helden I was sucked into the world of UK house + garage, influenced by dj’s such as Tuff Jam, EZ and Masters At Work. It was around this time, 1997, that I bought my first set of decks and began Dj-ing.
In 1999 I moved to Bournemouth to study for a business degree at the University. It was here that I began running house parties, club events and also diversifying into spinning RnB and Hip Hop, being influenced by producers such as the Neptunes and Jermaine Dupris and dj's like Shortee Blitz and Swerve. I worked my way across all the clubs on the South Coast working alongside all the main players in the RnB / Hip Hop / UK Garage scenes.
I began my radio career on Bournemouth’s student radio, Nerve FM . In 2004, I spent 2 years as a guest on Fire 107.6 FM . In 2006 I spent a year on Ministry Of Sound Radio with my production partner DJ Pencil, as DVDA Productions In 2007 I spent a year on London’s triple award winning Freeze FM . I now hold my weekly show on FIRE FM every Wednesday 21:00 - 23:00 breaking new RnB, Hip Hop, UK Garage, Funky and Grime
As well as residencies across the South Coast [see diary], I am the dj for So Solid's MAC and the Twin Mc’s . Big Up Twin 1 + Twin 2 ! [have to pass thru]
