Ryan Davis

Based in his hometown Magdeburg in Germany, Ryan Davis, born 1983, is working hard with his friend and label mate Lanny May on creating new sounds. In the age of 9 he started with a classical guitar training till 18.In these early years he experienced sounds from everything wich made a tone. Later he wanted to discover the world of mixing tunes together and become a good dj, but soon ryan noticed that he had to design his own songs. Ryans first experiences with a lot of simple programms where the entrance to create digital music but this software had to much limits for his imagination of soundarrangements. By a fluke he got to know Lanny May. Together they discovered over a long way and "thousands" of hours pc work their own style. As Davis & May they work together on a lot of projects and remixed allready tom wax, dejonka, phunklarique and oscar.Their look into the future everytime builds up new ideas and feelings for something special. The Transformer EP, Ryans Solo debut on "Klanggymnastik",was the first step to get in touch with the people out there and had a very good start with support from moonbootica,james holden,solee.. With releases Like Neotron ep, heavily played by Dj Sasha,Anthony Pappa, Vernis and Nudisco or their series on their own Label Maripoza Records allready supported by Carl Cox, John Digweed, Gigolo Records, Umek and Funk D..Void, Davis & May take big steps on their way to electronic musics heaven. So dont worry, u cant get enough of them?, with planned releases on Maripoza, Klangymnastik, Parquet, Piemont and Bondage u always get feeded with the style u begun to love.. stay tuned and be prepared for next big tunes..
