About Me

Now playing: Jimmy Deer
Producer/Artist Jimmy Deer began performing professionally at age 13 in rock bands in the Midwest. Since this early introduction to the music business, there have been several milestones, including touring the US as frontman for TVT Records live downtempo electronic band Baldwin Brothers. Jimmy shared the stage with such artists as Common, Deathcab for Cutie, Lenny Kravitz Cypress Hill, and Soul Asylum among others. The band was featured in Rolling Stone, Spin, and BPM culture.
Two of the most notable achievements in his career so far are the 1 Billboard remixes of Warner Bros. recording artist Seal's, "Get It Together" and Def Jam artist Christina Milian's, "Whatever You Want." These came out of Jimmy's collaboration with house music legend Roy Davis Jr., with whom Jimmy toured Japan and headlined the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Current projects include India Arie and Zen Q
