My Interests

I play Cello and sing for Dlugokecki (see myspace.com/dlugokecki). I also much enjoy playing lead Cello in the Per Piacere chamber orchestra and The Southampton Concert Orchestra.

I'd like to meet:

Paul Tortelier, (a bit tricky as he's dead but nonetheless) George Clooney, Gwen John(also dead) Marie Antoinette (cake is good/also dead) The cast of Firefly especially Nathan Fillion, friends as yet unmet.

Music:

Bjork a firm favourite, Live, Zero 7, lately long lost 78's, Gonzales, Muse, Tord Gustavsen trio, shelagh McDonald, Also ongoing love of Elgar, Shostakovich, Beethovan, Bob Dylan, Ben Dlugokecki, very occasionally Carcass and Kylie Minogue(not at the same time!), Most! Am open to suggestion.

Movies:

Serenity, The man in the White Suit, Wild Strawberries, Red beard, Starship troopers. Willow, Wuthering Heights (Ralph Fiennes version), Dangerous Liaisons, Kitchen stories, Zatoichi, Fight club, Out of sight, Some like it hot, The Scarlet Pimpernel, An Angel at My Table, Kung Fu Panda (weirdly!) The Princess Bride, we could be here all day...

Television:

No TV. Firefly, Enterprise and Buffy were exceptions before we got rid of the damn thing.

Books:

The Bronte sisters. Angela Carter, Judith McNaught, Samuel Beckett, Borderliners by Peter Hoeg, The kindness of strangers written by Kate Adie, and many many many more as I gobble them up..

Heroes:

Linda Hamilton in the Terminator films. Douglas Fairbanks. Queen Isabella.
