Jesus Christ.... the Lord of my life. Music, music, music. Writing and producing music. Spinning trance and drum n' bass on the decks, playing the guitar and bass, skateboarding, finding and even making cool clothes if I could ever get the sewing machine to work, art, having deep interesting conversations over a cup of coffee or latte, watching lightning storms in the dark while listening to trance. taking drives, camping, having friends over and grilling steak on the BBQ, ect, ect...........check out my music. The url is-"myspace.com/godsongband".......It's not very good yet. Still learning how to use the software.... lol
I'd like to meet:
some people that see the world through a different eye than the average joe. People that seek truth, people that dream, people that follow their heart, people that soldier on even when the odds are stacked against them.
Music:
music.... Is that specific enough? I can find at least one song in every genre that I like, even country.
Here are some of my favorites though-
dj Zero, Bad Relgion, Rise Against, Sex Pistols, Green Day, AFI, Lostprophets, Angels and Airwaves, The Violet Burning, Matchbook Romance (they're debut), My Chemical Romance, Story of the Year, Letter Kills, Funeral for a Friend, 30 Seconds to Mars, Still Remains, Atreyu (their first two), Haste the Day, Bullet For My Valentine, Spoken, Skillit (their worship album was rad), Michael W. Smith, G n' R, Boston, Reo Speedwagon, Pink Floyd, Bryan Adams, Journey, Def Leppard, Cheap Trick, Bob Dylan, CCR, Goo Goo Dolls, 311, The Killers, Damone, Muse, Republica, Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson, Korn (Life is Peachy was the best), Deadsy, Orgy (Blue Monday), Mudvayne, Nightwish, Coal Chamber. As far as djing goes I've been spinnin' a lot of hard/epic/progressive/tech/uplifting trance. Some of my favs would probably be Phalanx, Paul Miller, and Ferry Corsten. I also like playin liquid/tech/jump up/dark/epic/uplifting drum n' bass (i'm still learnin' to match them beats.... lol). Some of my favs there would include John B, Mythology, Ben Sage, Dj Panic, and Phetsta.
Movies:
Love movies. I could watch movies all day (well, maybe not all day). A few off the top of my head-
August Rush, Surf's Up, Wall*e, The (1st) Matrix, Gone in 60 seconds, V For Vendetta, The Island, The Cronicles of Narnia, Bless the Child, Dark City, The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds, Serendipity, A Knights Tale, Star Wars (all of 'em), The Count of Monte Cristo, Man In The Iron Mask, and, yes, the list goes on.
I just got the new Bad Religion live dvd, it's freakin' cool.
Television:
I never really have time to sit and watch tv. Even if I did there's not a whole lot that I'd be interested in. I'd rather just throw in a movie or some music videos.
Books:
I probably should read more. It might expand my vocabulary and smarten me up a bit...lol
If it's got pictures in it that's probably what I'll be lookin at.
Heroes:
Jesus Christ, the one who invented melody and rhythm, the one who made the sunset, the one who placed the moon and stars, the CREATOR of the universe. And of course Han Solo from Star Wars...... he's the man.
