Ghost Town is the brain child of guitarist, singer and songwriter Jeffrey Bianchi. A loud, rocking musician from Atlanta, Georgia, he ironically received his 1st break playing in the Country act Young Guns from Nashville, Tennessee. At a mere 23 years old, he had the incredible experience of touring every state West of the Mississippi river. With no help from a label, the band toured for 15 months straight and made a living playing music. In the summer of 2006, the band took a 3 month residence in Casper, Wyoming; playing a dance hall called Cowboys. They performed 4 nights a week for 5 hours each night. The rest of the time, Jeffrey had off to do as he pleased and devoted it to recording original music. During the course of the summer, he tapped into his fellow musicians’ talent and laid the foundation for the music heard. After a 2 month tour back to Nashville, the group disbanded to pursue their own musical endeavors. Jeffrey gathered a band and began to forge a path to success.
Ghost Town have been compared to “later Smashing Pumpkins with more of a kickâ€. In less than 3 months, they have earned a supportive fan base and have had over 100 CD’s distributed in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Wisconsin and California. They currently perform in Atlanta and are preparing to take their music over state lines.
