I am not normal...if I was I wouldnt be wasting my time playing the violin - Nathan Milstein

About Me

Until recently, I had only one plan for myself...to be the greatest performer on viola anyone has ever seen. I had set my course, planned my future, and it was only hours of practicing and performing that was keeping me from getting there....Thats when I had to go and screw it all up.I have decided that I have much more to say to the music world than what a viola can say. In hopes of saying something more, I have decided to pursue a second degree in vocal performance...I know, sounds like suicide. well, it is. However, it wasn't until recently that my place isn't simply just sitting in the middle of an orchestra. I need to find myself somewhere I can truly express myself. I'm not sure yet where that is....is it on the stage, in the pit, or on the podium, but I'm willing to try and find out....its a big journey, and you have search all four corners of the world before you know EXACTLY what you must do with your life.I also like to show videos of performers that have shaped my life. I discovered this singer, of all places, on youtube. Gregory Kunde, in my opinion, is the king of the high C...just watch this video of Mr. Kunde singing Donizetti's "Ah! Mes amis", from La Filglia del Reggimento.
