Born in Lampung - Sumatra in 1987, growing up naturally by the farm, natural resource, fresh air, and when in a sudden Selphie moved to Singapore in the year 2000.
Selphie always get attracted with beautiful flowers, animal prints and fur, standing color, and everything shinning. After highschool without aware of any specific starting point of interest in design, since partly due to never having an imposed view about 'how to make design' and 'what is in design' at first, Selphie studied Computer programming and Business IT at FTMS Global in Singapore in the 2004. When at last Selphie realize that she cant stand of mathematical code, Selphie decided to go to fashion design at Raffles Design Singapore which now known as Raffles University, where selphie could see how her ideas developed into the modern era, a garments that you are not only could imagine how does it feel and looks like by a flat sketching, but you can really feel it, the falls of the chiffon, how the beads works complete the whole story of selphie's out fitt and the texture of every leather she use.
Selphie's inspiration is usually unpredictable, but she always makes her design to show her sense of styling. "I dont sit down at home and think about of my design, I get out to watch people on the street, Ideas come naturally. People that appreciate designs, understand the philosophy of fashion, they are the one makes me feel worth it the fight to be a fashion designer, and they are the one that always be my strongest inspiration on designing. They always wanted me to imagine, what should they wear best for the next seasons".
Getting Inspired by the famous Couturie, Selphie always made at least one bridal gown for her finale during any of her collection, she respect the art of Haute Couture, and never gonna leave it behind.
She always choose the best for her fabrics, best for the beads, and best trimmings. Simply, Selphie wanted everything to be the best for her designs.
Since her first mini collection she produce called the 'Anarchy of desire' that represent the mental desire from the ladies. Selphie was working together full time with Miss Indonesia Earth in the 2006 as their in-house creative designer, for the preparation of the International beauty pageant Miss Earth at Manila - Philippines.
Selling her designs while Selphie prepare to continue her master degree, she showed with the Nolcha International Fashion Designer Competition during New York Spring 2008 Fashion week as the finalist. And is getting ready to show with the Bali Fashion Week in November 2007.
