Drum Media "...it would be worthwhile to discover gems like Whispering Clouds." Michael Smith
This Is Modern.Net "Australia is known for bringing the world some amazing talents. The Velvet Fog is definitely one of these bands and their debut album is sure to act as a springboard to launching an excellent career"

BIO
The Velvet Fog are a Sydney based band who formed in 2002. Both familiar yet unique their music is sincere, heartfelt and inspired.Since the time of their formation they've been captivating audiences with their exciting, evocative and highly crafted live shows fronted by singer songwriter Edoardo Santoni. Formed with friends, all successful players in their own right he's assembled a stellar band featuring some of Sydney's finest players (see below).
In 2006 they released their evocative debut album 'Scenes From a Rooftop' and was met with high praise and warm reviews in the press. Mixed and Mastered by Robyn Mai, responsible for the Aria award winning album 'Sunrise Over Sea' by the John Butler Trio, their album is bound for classic status with its timeless sound, organic instrumentation and honest, heart bearing lyrics.
With regular gigs, national airplay on JJJ and community support with local radio esp FBi, they have built up a loyal following culminating to an east coast tour late 2006.
Their success has seen them play alongside artists including Augie March, Josh Pyke, Bertie Blackman, Abby Dobson, Steve Kilbey (the Church) Peregrine and Paul Greene.
This year they were feature artists on 'JJJ Unearthed' following plenty of requests and feedback. Building on the success of their album launch, touring and their recent nomination from Music Oz awards for their single Blue Track, 2007 is set to be an even bigger and exciting year for the fog.
