I'm over here!! Where are you?

About Me

The Takeovines is the title for any thing I decide to produce from the my music I play, to all the work I design (TakeovineDesigns). I'm using this to preview some tunes of the past like the Indigo Blues Band, to which I was a member as well as some new stuff from Daddy Magnum (www.myspace.com/daddymagnum). I'm also going to use it to put on anything new i come up with, Photography, Graphic designs, 3D animations, web designs and music.
I started playing bass guitar four years ago. I never planned on playing an instrument at all, but a bass player was needed and I knew I should give it ago and I haven't looked back since. I try to be different, and play more jazz, funk, lounge music, as it offers me the chance to play more than one note throughout a song. I like to be more of an active role in a song than just backing alone. It seems a weird choice for a supporting role to want to be up front, but I think a bass can be just as good if not better than a guitar sometimes. So I'm going to work on proving myself right, as well as gaining the skill I know I can achieve.
