About Me

Disclaimers, Caveats, and Potential Side-effects:
Weapons grade weird
Generally the more silly and random and out of character an idea seems the more inclined I am to agree to do it.
I like to keep people on their toes.
I am generally awkward and quiet in social situations, an introvert, except when I'm not. It takes me a bit to warm up, but once I do then all hell generally breaks loose. I can be pretty dorky. Sometimes I have strange moments of extroversion and confidence. I also tend to be pretty direct and honest.
My humor seems to be an aquired taste. We tend to have a lot of idiotic gibberish for inside jokes. I also tend to be cynical and sarcastic, but who isn't these days...
I I'm an iconoclastic social liberal.
I'm an educated slacker with aspirations to accomplish something but no direction towards what that might be.
I wouldn't say I'm well-rounded. More like hectogonal.
I also do some half-assed photography; it's one of the only things I'm not good at that I actually like doing anyway.

My Interests

I'm a dilettante, I know a little about a lot of varied things. I over-analyze EVERYTHING. Watching movies or cartoons on DVD. I miss hiking and taking pictures. Red Rock, Valley of Fire, etc. Concert-going. Music listening. "Dancing". Photographing. Wandering. Travel. Road trips. Cooking. Dinner parties, especially with wacky themes. Self-depricating. Politics. Current Events. Germany. Vienna. Philosophy. Science. The news. NPR. Reddit. Stick figures. Random internet humor, especially bizarrely funny videos. 2D videogames like Pac-Man, Tetris, Mario-Kart - where I don't get stuck in corners and blow myself up. I'm not big on clubbing but I go sometimes. Wine tasting. Collecting random weird toys to build my alien universe. Photoshop. World domination. Silly crafts nights. Still intend to learn to knit. Nonsense and non-sequitors. Random surrealness. Bizarre coincidences.

I'd like to meet:

People who are openminded/quirky/spontaneous.
People who are smart, clever, funny, informed, literate, and articulate, and have a similiar sense of humor.
People who like to play video games or pinball, who like sushi, smoke hookah occasionally, do random stuff outdoors, watch movies, drive around aimlessly, sit and talk, and be dorks.
A photography/road or day trip sidekick.
People who have some confidence in themselves but don't take themselves too seriously, some forwardness to bring me out of my shell, some sense of adventure and appreciation of the random.
Someone who can teach me new things and expose me to new interests.
