Hails! Here's to Metal and all that it stands for. Skies Devoured cannot be put into simpler words than us just wanting to play some beautiful music and allowing other folk to listen. This is only the beginning.
Skies Devoured was born out of the urge to play some great, epic Metal. With influences ranging from all corners of the musical spectrum, the band promises a fresh take on the genre. The idea of the band was conceived by Daniels Bagnato and Gerardo Salazar in 2005. Michael Gonçalves joined the band on guitar and continued to write music with Gerardo. They were then joined by Gustavo Cunha on bass and in the eve of 2007, JP Andrade joined as the drummer. Thus, Skies Devoured was finally complete. They decided to step forward and show their music to the world. The summer of 2007 produced the release of their first demo, followed by a wave of shows spanning New Jersey, New York City, Staten Island, and Pennsylvania.
**Nearly one year later, in the eve of summer 2008, Skies Devoured declared a break.**
