Andy became a fan of the band and later produced the bands debut music video taken from the 2nd Ep, which was also the title track "a million miles of string".
Going from strength to strength, each time pushing the ability of each musician and keeping the sound of photobooth alive the band recorded their 3rd and final EP as a 4 piece. Once again the sound evolved to new heights and really showed what photobooth were capable of.
Unfortunately during the summer of 2007 bass guitarist Nige decided to leave the band to persue the slightly less demanding role of being a new dad. The band wish Nige & his family all the best for the future. The band discussed bringing in a new bass player but after weeks of staring at each other and deciding where to go next, decided to carry on as a 3 piece and experiment more with the arrangements and sounds with the aim of a more interesting and experimental sound. The band now play what they like and if the crowd like it great, if not, so what??It’s a conscious move away from some of our more crowd-pleasing songs of the past but don’t get us wrong , the band are still writing great, catchy tunes but the detail is much more interesting.
"More interesting" is certainly the catchphrase for the band at the moment, and the resultant songs are probably going to be a bit more like marmite to our audiences ... love it or hate it, it will be more interesting.
An album is planned for 2008 with rumour of further musical appearances on the BIG screen on Andy Wilton’s next film "Behind the scenes of Total Hell" so watch this space!!!!
