Sean Lacefield began playing guitar at the age of 15 and it soon became an obsession. By the
age of 17 he began playing professionally in local clubs with as many bands as possible. He
played in at least two bands at a time and sometimes as many as four at once. He began writing
and recording original material at 18 and doing session work at an Aberdeen Studio for local
artists at 21. Sean's first job after arriving in L.A. was as an intern at a small record label in
Studio City. After learning some of the good and the bad of what the music industry really is, it
was time to move on. Sean has been pursuing his musical path for several years now and his
hard work is showing impressive results.
Over the last 4 years, Sean has been doing L.A. session work for producerssuch as David Longoria
(Sting,Aretha Franklin, etc.) Chris Spilfogel(Mariah Carey, Luther Vandrose, Justin Timberlake)
and artists such as hardcore rapper"The Realist" as well as composing and producing for independent
artists. In late 2005 Sinister landed an "end credits" slot on the Capcom video Game release
"DEAD RISING". After 1.5 million copies and counting Capcom decided to release a
"DEAD RISING" Compilation sound track in mid 2007 as a follow up to the game which
will also include the track “Justified†and will be released world wide.
He has recently begun writing symphonic compositions for film and television. Sean was asked
to score the independent horror film “Fear of Life†scheduled for release late 2007 as well as
the surf film "Finding Aloha" scheduled for release in mid 2007. He is currently in the studio
recording and producing along with Chris Spilfogel, the upcoming release for his band “Ellsbethâ€
entitled "Well Dressed Killing Machine scheduled to drop in late 2007. He has been hard at
work with the band "Ellsbeth" that he co-founded with vocalist, Shannon Quamme in mid 2005.
Ellsbeth was recently placed on an upcoming compilation "Riot on Sunset" for 272 records
based in Hollywood, Ca and Astral Records yearly compilation entitled: DEAD famousVol. 8,
both of which are now in circulation. The album track “Arise†is featured as the theme song
for the smash latin television show “Maxx Fight†which recently signed for another five years
run. Sean has also had a track entitled “Revolution†placed as the theme of the new Extreme
sports show “ Future Sports X â€coming to Spike tv soon. Ellsbeth is in talks with four
independent labels and will be touring extensively in late 2007 and 2008 in support of
