This Paterson, New Jersey native began his career with Riff, a group best known for their memorable performance in the film “Lean On Me†and their early 90’s singles “My Heart Is Failing Meâ€, “If You’re Serious†and “Every Time My Heart Beatsâ€.
After the group’s separation in the late 90’s, Nitty became a member of the soulful R&B quintet, Men of Vizion. This group was best known for their top 10 R&B hit "House Keeperâ€. As a member of both groups he gained prominence after making appearances on The Arsenio Hall Show, The Tonight Show, Soul Train, Showtime at the Apollo, just to name a few. Currently, Nitty is touring with the exciting EMI Gospel recording group, Darrell McFadden and The Disciples, where he has reunited with singing and producing extraordinaire Prathan "Spanky" Williams.
