My Interests

Scuba diving, making camps with my daughter, running my business 'Babygroove', being a wine snob, eating anything with garlic and going to the theatre (but I don't get to do that much anymore).

I'd like to meet:

Lucky enough to meet lots of lovelies in my job. My entertainment show, Spotlight, runs on a loop on Saturdays on Sky News Active. You can also watch it on sky.com/showbiz or sky.com/news. For all my latest celeb interviews, showbiz news and gossip wactch Spotlight. You can see my last programme below.

Music:

I do a music review for Sky News every Monday and it has come to my attention I am a rock chick. I love so many bands that are around at the moment.. The Feeling, The Zutons, Snow Patrol, Coldplay. I also like the old timers.. Elton John, Van Morrison, Neil Diamond (he's forever in blue jeans that man), Billy Joel and of course Madonna.

Movies:

What About Bob.. Bill Murray's finest comedy hour. Thelma And Louise.. I did part of my dissertation on this movie (uni really was hard work). I also love The Godfather Part 2.

Television:

Spotlight on Sky News Active is the best show ever. Sex And The City, I miss it. 24, have watched all five seasons (well I have a baby and don't get out much). I dip in and out of Scrubs, can't decide if I find Zach Braff attractive. I can't deny I also indulge a bit of reality TV from time to time.

Books:

Omerta by Mario Puzo. I have been reading The Godfather by Puzo too but post birth of child so it's taking a while! I read this book once called Diary Of An Ordinary Woman, a true story of a woman's life through the war. I was so moved but gutted when I found out it was in fact a novel and not true at all.

Heroes:

My parents. A little cheesey I know but they are the only people I have ever really tried to emulate. My mother is a nurse and fixes people for a living but outside of her office she is also the most compassionate and loving woman I have ever met. I can't believe I get to have her as a mum. My father has had an incredibly intense, high profile, stressful career but that didn't effect his role as a dad. He is wise, witty, thoughtful and generous to a fault.
