Theatre, books, learning languages and then stopping and forgetting them, musicals, comedy (not that Tate woman...)
Most things. Sondheim musicals, and also William Finn's stuff. Nerina Pallot, who just seems a lot more substantial than Lily Allen. I have a weakness for Pink, trashy Spanish pop & choral music. The Carpenters when I'm feeling down. CSN. Sassa, the Loki Project and Maximus (see my friends for their pages).
American Splendour; anything with Audrey Hepburn; Dirty Pretty Things. Just seen Sideways, which was very good. Other things. I think the second Matrix film is better than the first ['discuss'], and think Blade 2 is pretty awful.
Don't watch much tv, but am developing a dirty liking for Inspector Linley.
Dan Brown is rubbish. Sebastian Faulks is heartbreakingly good, especially 'On Green Dolphin Street'. Only just rediscovered reading, so I'm catching up on the mainstream for the past ten years. Mainly I buy interesting-looking books I find in charity shops, but any recommendations (for books or charity shops) always welcome.
Nope. But Sassa has written a lovely song about his. ;-)
