About Me
Born out of the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia in the Autumn of 2005, Anime Fire is a brooding combination of hardcore and electronic influences that have melted together to produce a sound and style that is dark, melodic, energized and emotional in its execution. The 4-piece delivers a new interpretation of melodic hardcore, when fused with modern metal and break beat electronica to create something all to their own. This is an act that is not afraid to push the boundaries both in the studio and with their live show.
In the short time since the bands creation, Anime Fire have already toured Australia extensively and shared the stage with a number of International and National acts in Perth including at the 2006 TASTE OF CHAOS Festival alongside the likes of: TAKING BACK SUNDAY, SENSES FAIL, THURSDAY, SAOSIN, ANTI-FLAG, UNDEROATH and PARKWAY DRIVE, 2008 SOUNDWAVE FESTIVAL with artists including: THE OFFSPRING, INCUBUS, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, ALEXISON FIRE, AS I LAY DYING, BLEEDING THROUGH, SHADOWS FALL, DEVINE HERESY, CARPATHIAN and more… plus additional tour supports for international acts SILVERSTEIN (CAN), DARKEST HOUR (USA), FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES (USA), ALL SHALL PERISH (USA), HE IS LEGEND (USA) and THE BLED (USA), as well as established Australian acts such as I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN, MINDSNARE, MILES AWAY and PSYCROPTIC.
With their debut 6-track EP, “Where the Wolves Fear to Treadâ€, out now on ITUNES and instores thru SKULL AND BONES RECORDS / STOMP DISTRIBUTION; these guys are definitely an act to watch out for.
