About Me
Born and raised in Baltimore, legally as Sean Armstrong, DJ Face first discovered his love for Hiphop in 1982 when he won his first talent show with a classic break-dancing routine. At the age of twelve his older brother introduced him to the art of DJ-ing where he has since continued honing his skills, staying very busy in the local club circuit and doing shows, parties and private events all up and down the east coast and overseas, as far East as Hong Kong. It was only natural that DJ Face would soon deveolpe a passion for creating beats and rhymes.
Face has written and produced for groups from New York, Philly, Baltimore and California. He recently landed a track on Tajai's, (Souls of Mischief), Power Movement Project - the remix album.
As a DJ, Face has performed along side the likes of Pete Rock, Kid Capri, DJ S&S, DJ Bee and many more.
He has performed in front of crowds in excess of 1500 people and maintains a unique and energized party vibe. Face's talent truly lies in keeping the dance floor packed with his excellent record selection, seamless blends and superb timing.
"You have to be able to feel the crowd, vibe with them and know exactly what they want before they do. It's not an easy thing. I've been doing this for a long time and my brother before me so I've had plenty of practice. Being an emcee has also helped me a lot, staying vocal on the mic at the right times, keeping the crowd pumped, it's beautiful when you see it all click."
While Face's roots lie in Hiphop, he covers many genres of music, including reggae, old school, 80's hits and house.
DJ Face, member of the newly formed Pitch Control DJ's, can cover all of your music needs and you can rest assured they will be fulfilled with professionalism, quality and true talent.found this music layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com
