Dr. Ted Nelson -- Physician, scientist ...searching for a way to tap into the musical strength that all Atomic Robots have.
Then, an accidental overdose of famed movie actor Nick Adam's irradiated soul alters the two robots that Nelson created, turning them into living creatures. Now, whenever Coburn and Wyngarde become angered or outraged, Dr. Ted Nelson is forced to rely upon atomic drums to control the startling metamorphosis that has possessed the two atomic robots, tempting them to wreak havoc against the world!
The robots are driven by the lethal "Nick Atom" and pursued by Dr. Ted
Nelson's scientific mind. Coburn and Wyngarde are believed to be robots, and Dr. Ted Nelson must let the world think that they are, until he can find a way to control the soul that dwells with in them!
