God brought the band together as a result of Carol entering the studio to record a small independent CD. Everything clicked together so well...Carol asked the individual musicians if they would consider playing in his band as permanent members. Everyone was in agreement and "Purpose" was born.Over the past three years, Purpose916 has played with such artists as Mercy Me, Carmen, Clay Crosse, Rachel Lampa, New Song, True Vibe, and many others.Purpose916 has already put out their first full length album, "Higher Place."
