Bottlefed ensemble

Bottlefed is an all-female, international ensemble based in London. It is co-run by Kathrin Bigler (writer/director) and Rebeca Fernandez Lopez (choreographer). We merge our European tanztheater background with British approaches to improvisation and physical theatre practice. An essential part of Bottlefed’s creative process is rooted in durational improvisation and telling stories through the performers’ bodies without a big emphasis on technical support. Our performances combine new writing, dance, physical theatre and electro-acoustic music and reflect the intertwining of the tragic and comical aspects of theatre and human nature.Our latest performance 'Return to Reason' (see trailer below) has been short listed for the Total Theatre Award for 'Best Original Work by an Ensemble'.For more details on our performances, workshops and educational projects check out our website www.bottlefed.org.
