Shutdown Sequence Go!

"Shutdown was started by Rob and I to exceed anything we had done musically with Abuela, or any other project we've been apart of. And we are very happy with the progress we've made in the first year and a half of being a band. We love to play music. Its what were all best at. And its definitely the funnest thing we've ever done. We plan on trying to do this for a living and want to surpass all the expectations of people who have little faith in what we're trying to do. Tulsa's scene has definitely improved since we started playing 4 years ago, but it's still staggering what with all the generic metal and hardcore bands that flood the scene. We're not saying that they ALL suck and make generic music, but there's definitely an overabundance of metal/hardcore music in Oklahoma. We want to help open peoples eyes to new music. New music for New ears as Zeb puts it." -Nick
