I like to listen to bands like My Chemical Romance, Thursday, Say Anything, MEWITHOUTYOU, Sage Francis, NoFx, Norma Jean, Weezer, Bright Eyes, Brand New, Be Your Own Pet, Bloodhound Gang, Alexisonfire, Deftones, Jimmy Eat World, Panic At the Disco, Rise Against, Saosin, the Blood Brothers, The Streets, The Used, Converge, Ed Gein and Botch.

Movies:

I guess my favourite films are Wonder Boys, I Heart Huckabees, Don't Look Back (best Bob Dylan film), Pull My Daisy(about the Beats) Sunrise (best old black and white film). The Blood of a Poet (best surreal film).

Television:

The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Mighty Boosh, Good Game, Rage, The IT Crowd, Young Ones, Daria, Band of Brothers, Art Safari, and This is modern art (Whatever happened to Matthew Collins?)

Books:

Books by Georges Bataille, Alain-Fournier, Anais Nin, Maurice Blanchot, Jorge Luis Borges, Andre Gide, Louis Aragon, and Henri Michaux.

Heroes:

Sartre, Derrida, Levinas, Nancy and Baudrillard. French philosophers who got off their arse, stood up for peace, and responsibility (unlike Heidegger who was a fucking Nazi. just a question, has anyone actually read all of "Being and Time").
