From the suburbs of Canberra, Inflatable Ingrid formed when guitarist Dead Reub7en Joke met vocalist Paulie Thalidomide while the two were studying Year 12 at Narrabundah College in 2004. In the ensuing years, Inflatable Ingrid went through a revolving door line-up of rhythm players before Nickamc and Julian permanently joined the band on bass and drums respectively.
With their volatile mix of thrash metal riffs and hardcore punk indignation, Inflatable Ingrid’s slogan could be "This Machine Kills Wankers". Highlights of their career so far include competing in the 2006 Pot Belly Battle of the Bands, playing Indyfest '07 and a Dionysian finale at the Phoenix Bootleg Sessions. This is music that demands to be heard. Put this on right now!
