The birth of wollongong's original radical ska band; Hornography, occured on a chilly saturday afternoon in early august.
Current members include Jamie on le vocals, Andrew on le saxaphone, EJ on le drums, Austin on le bass, Liam on le guitar and The Dave on le trumpet. We weren't sure how it would turn out cause most of us had never met before but we gave it a try anyway.
It worked out great and before long we played in the Woonona High School Variety night with premium success, as far as a succesfull high school variety nights go.
Around January we had a fall out with Dave Fanning (trombone) deciding to leave the band which left Liam, Austin and EJ unsure of whether to stay.
We did and since then have played some jaw dropping shows including the youth centre by special request.
We have had great reviews for all the sets with people that would have thought "Ska is so not my thing" realising "Wow ska IS my thing"
We are the only Ska band in Wollongong (as far as we know) and therefore we are the best.
We are currently in the process of writing several more songs and tryin to get some stuff recorded. Keep skanking and hope to see you at the show! Fucking.
