About me, lets see....i hate talking about myself- i guess it makes me feel like im being pretentious, but i guess i can make an acception for the sake of this MYSPACE insanity.My names Joey, A/X, or "Oh yeh, that asshole..."depending on who you are. I'm 22,5'9,175,and enjoy long walks on beaches, well the beaches without crack vials,needles and broken Coors bottles.....Growing up, i split my time between the 'burbs of hamden (h town) and the streets of the elm city, my home, new haven.
heres the deal about me now...i am a 100% entrepenaur. i have hustled for everything ive achieved, and i wont stop. i have been in the nightclub game for 7 years as a dj, promoter, manager,m c and ever other aspect that one may imagine for the other 9-5. i also am a part owner of THE TRUE DJS, AND THE NOCTRUM AGENCY-a full scale booking, managment, marketing media and production group designed to create and manage talent with creative drive and dedication.
i currently manage THE BRASS MONKEY nightclub in downtown New Haven. Coming off a 7 year run as a promoter and owner of SKYLINE ENTERTAINMENT, and a partner in 22nightlife.com,I can say i've learned a few things in this city,lol. my goal is to revolutionize and reinvent the game and the arts in CT, thru not only THE BRASS MONKEY but fashion, food, music, culture and nightlife.

OVER THE PAST YEARS I HAVE BEEN A CHILD MODEL at 7, AN ACTOR,A NIGHTCLUB DJ RANKED NUMBER 2 IN CT, A NIGHTCLUB MANAGER, AN ALL AREA SOCCER PLAYER IN HIGH SCHOOL AND PREMIER LEAUGES, WRITTEN 2 BOOKS, MODELED IN NYC AND BOSTON, BOXED FOR 4 YEARS,PLAYED HOCKEY , PERFORMED IN AN ALL MALE REVIEW,SOLD DRUGS,PLAYED GUITAR AND SANG IN 2 BANDS, DESIGNED CLOTHING FOR A FASHION HOUSE,PERFORMED IN POETRY SLAMS AND READINGS, PRODUCED FOR WARLOCK RECORDS,HUNG OUT AND PARTIED W. CELEBRITIES, SERVED TIME IN JAIL,DREW A COMIC BOOK SERIES,i could keep going.... theres way too much to even figure it out and why i am where i am now.id like to thank all the people who supported and support me still.my brothers drew "fulltime" mccarver, john chic,Erc,TST,HAMDEN AND EAST HAVEN, british lee,angelo,stick,nicky googles,arnold,v nyce,love,motyl,htown as a whole,lupone,and all the A X girls and boys on the east coast- thankyou for your friendship, love and patience... and most of all all the peole that dont like me. it means im doing something right, and jealousy is hilarious-honestly, im at the point where i get off on it.what jokes.
IF I EVER COME ACROSS cocky or a typical guido asshole i am forever apoligetic. the insanity and negitivity in over 21 years has changed my perception of reality and its most likely different from yours. i thank the lord for every second i breathe, wether it be positive or negative because in the end, its all an experience. life is such a lesson, and we'll learn it at the gates, as for now, i'd just like to rock on.
