PAPER BOYS ENTERTAINMENT
Formed more than six years ago, in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, Paper Boys Entertainment has strived
hard to be set apart from the rest of the independent
labels that currently flood the genre of music.
Founded on the realization that music does have
profound influence on people, situations, and time
periods, this solid entertainment company has mapped
out their plans for dominating the world of music.
What originally started as a way to pass the time and
stay off the streets has quickly become a way to pay
homage to those who created the original Hip-Hop
Movement of the early 1980’s. With the current state
of Hip-Hop being questioned by many, Paper Boys
Entertainment feels it’s time to focus on a new
direction and bring the essence of hip-hop back to
music.
Under the strong leadership of Joe Taylor and the
hard work ethic of it’s current artists and
affiliates, Paper Boys Entertainment has risen to
become an independent label with more than just good
music to share. Inspired by the mind-set and
accomplishments of other African American label owners
such as Russell Simmons, Sean “P. Diddy†Combs, and
Percy “Master P.†Miller, Taylor has done his best to
interpret and reinforce the business side of the music
industry. Through the most recent step of relocating
Paper Boys Entertainment to Atlanta, in order to be
closer to the music, Taylor has already entered into
the first phase of professing his dedication to
success.
In addition to the relocation to Atlanta, Paper Boys Entertainment also looks forward to implementing
change in the Atlanta Music Community. Under the
guidance of Wendy Day and a long list of other
contributor’s, Paper Boys Entertainment has already
had a number of networking events for young music
minded people. Created as a way to offer guidance,
support, and resources, the “We Got Next Networking
Mixer†is quickly becoming an industry standard for
those looking to excel in the business of music.
“We started the We Got Next Networking Mixer as a wayfor individuals like my self to meet and network with
others on the same path†claims Taylor. “It’s
basically a way for us all to become connected and
focus on obtaining the same dream.â€
With the recent success of the weekly “We Got Next
Networking Mixer†and plans for other ways to help
enrich the growing Atlanta Music Community, Paper Boys
Entertainment is dedicated to becoming the next big
thing.
