I theoretically enjoy movies, although find now that I have trouble sitting through them. I was more raptly entranced by the way a certain televised synchronized swimming routine matched up perfectly in meter and phrasing with some randomly selected jukebox song during a recent expedition to Manhattan than I have been with any feature in recent memory.

I am reading Foucault's Pendulum (Eco) and The Wasp Factory (Banks). I finally got ahold of that Callahan's Crosstime Saloon collection and shall be assaulting my sensibilities with more of Spider Robinson's unrelenting punning soon enough.
