When this band
formed doesn't matter, why we did it
is the important part.I find it hard to get enthusiastic about
another Irish boy band and
preening pretend punks as I'm sure
do most people. So in order to
break up those little factory production lines Kapowski arrived to put
a rocket in the foreman's pocket.Our mutual enjoyment of idlewild,
Jimmy Eat World, At The Drive-In
and Pavement brought us together
over a dodgy meal in a college
canteen.Before long we'd written a set of heavy alterno-popping not-so-classics that
laid down the foundations of a band
that dared to rock and get attention.
That was two years ago and since
then we've been sharpening our teeth
on the great and the less than good
of the toilet circuit. Gigging with the
likes of Razorlight, Electric Six,
The Cooper Temple Clause, Biffy
Clyro, The Ordinary Boys, The
Zutons, Dogs Die In Hot Cars, Jet
Plane Landing and Longwave.Now we feel with our first London
shows looming and maybe even a
debutsingle in the very near future,
it's time to introduce the masses to
Kapowski's raw, energetic and sometimes chaotic live shows where
theingredients of throwing rock shapes akin to epileptic seizures, not so
nervous twitches and catchy rock-a-
long chorus's have been creating a
loyal fervor amongst those fortunate
to have caught us so far.
