About Me

TALE (tayle) n. 1. A recital of events or happenings; a report or revelation. 2. A malicious story, piece of gossip, or petty complaint. 3.A deliberate lie; a falsehood. 4. A narrative of real or imaginary events; a story.
If Star Wars Tales is anything it's not a "report" or a "revalation". There is a book with a lot of revalations and it's called the Bible. Star Wars Tales is in no way malicious, gossipy, or complaining (well, the fans may be but that's a different story). It's fiction, so it may be called a lie (if your looking for truth though Star Wars is not the place to find it). Therefore, only one definition remains- Star Wars Tales is a narrative of imaginary events.Or rather, a collection of short stories set in the Star Wars universe. Like the Dark Horse Comic on which it’s based, Star Wars: Tales will feature five short stories in a stop-motion animated style using action figures. Like the comic the film will tell several stories that span genres, styles, and emotions. The film will be a kind of mix between the two formats of the comic. They will all fit somewhat in the Star Wars timeline like in the second format, yet they are out of continuity like the first format. However, unlike the comic, some stories will feature content from the latest Star Wars film, Revenge of the Sith, which is something the comic never did due to its cancellation in June 2005.This film is set for release in 2008 and will be available to anyone with a computer. Keep checking this site to keep you entertained and informed as the release date comes closer and closer. Well, I hope that the Star Wars: Tales film will bring you a shred of excitement the comics brought me when I first read them.MTFBWY-Danny Mosier Director, Writer, and Producer of this film.
