knitting - okay so have only managed to produce really long scarves but it's a start reading - anything and everything (suppose that's why I'm in PR) technology - I admit it, I'm a geek. Love reading about the latest tech, whether it's a new Apple product or a microchip that acts like a hard drive - wow! (see BBC online, 10 July 06)
KingPin, Anchorman (almost anything with Will Ferrell to be honest though what was going on with BeWitched??), Big as it's an all time classic but my absolute favourite is It's a Wonderful Life - a great tear-jerker for a wintry Sunday afternoon.
As shameful as it is, I'm totally hooked on Big Brother 2006 - Nikki is hilarious while Glyn's 'coming of age' is certainly a sight to behold. Having bought my first place I love watching the latest home programmes especially Property Ladder - does anyone ever listen to Sarah Beeny, ever?? - and Grand Designs - inspirational on times. And also can't miss Saturday Kitchen (I remember the days when kids TV used to make me get up on weekends, not cookery programmes!) - be interesting to see how it develops without Wozza at the helm.
Adore anything by Martina Cole - okay they are slightly trashy and formulaic with too much swearing but for sheer entertainment they can't be beaten - real page turners. Watership Down - read it as a child - cried, read it as an adult - cried, watch the film - blubb the entire time!
Sigourney Weaver in Aliens - boy she kicked some alien butt!
