Ok this is the hard part (the part where you might start to think of me as a nerd or geek. lol), Sci-fi (Trek, B5, Stargate, Farscape, all good), computers a bit, reading sci-fi/fantasy. Used to be into making models, but the end result wasn't as good as it should have been, lol...
Puttering around the house, doing odds and ends.
Fishing when I get the opportunity, I go saltwater fishing down off the piers or from the shore.
I have traveled some, mostly out in the western US (love the Rockies), plus some of the eastern US and CA around Lake Superior. I was stationed in Germany in the USAF for a couple years, but did not get to see much else due to personal issues at the time :( .
So as to the nerd/geek part, I can spend hours figuring out a program and fixing it, or spend hours figuring out an engine and fixing it... go figure-lol. I like puzzles, programming, mechanical, word, logic, jigsaw, or whatever kind, it's what I do and am good at, figure out what's wrong with something, then fix it.
Someone smart, sweet, and patient... 'nuff said for now. (and yes I really AM looking)
Something I'd like to find:
I would really like to find the source of this pic. I would love to have a print or even more preferrable, an actual painting of it. The site it comes from has no idea who the artist is. :(
Country is pretty much it, jazz, r&b, soft rock are all ok, but I really don't pay much attention to music anyway, so as long as it doesn't annoy me, it's fine.
Sci-fi / fantasy as mentioned. LoTR gets 5 stars. Some action/adventure types. As with anything, some movies I like, some I do not.
Well, it's sorta TV, sorta computer game, StarTrek 2.0 is an interactive stock game, kinda wierd, but we have fun chatting and playing the game/watching the old TOS eps on G4TV (only good thing on that channel I believe). (pdtfin on IRC for the game)
Hmmm, well I have a bunch of Star Trek from years ago, lol. Anne McCaffery (PERN), Piers Anthony (Apprentice and Xanth), Tolkein, David Brin, Asimov (Foundation), and a bunch of others picked up over the years.
Well, as a public figure, I'd have to say John Glenn, Marine, Astronaut, Senator, and Corporate president... whether or not I agree with everything he does, he always stood by his principles.
Other than that, anyone who refuses to let standards be lowered so he or she can accomplish a goal. (there's more to it than that, but that's the general idea)
Click HERE to get a pre-made MySpace Layout (sorry, I could edit this out, but wouldn't be nice for the people I grabbed the basics from- phil)
