About Me
Andy Langham was born in Seattle, but grew up in Washington DC area, Yuma Arizona, and San Antonio. He studied Jazz Perfomance at The University of North Texas, and Audio Engineering at Texas State University. Since, he has performed all over the world with an extremely diverse group of artists. Andy has played and/or recorded with the classic Rhythm and Blues groups The Platters, The Coasters, The Diamonds, and The Drifters; international artists Charo, Flaco Jimenez, Emilio Navaira; country legends Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, and Ray Price (which he served as musical director,) jazz artists Randy Brecker, Ravi Coltrane, Tom Harrell, Gary Bartz, Dewey Redman, Mike Stern, John Abercrombie, Larry Coryell, Sam Rivers, Dave Liebman, Terry Gibbs, Clark Terry, Steve Turre, Jon Hendricks, James Moody, and Gerry Gibbs.
