You're Only Weird if You Define Normal

About Me

I am a dedicated teacher of 7 years. I love my students and am a borderline workaholic. However, I've gotten a little better at leaving work at work in the last year! Teaching is something I thought about since I was in high school. I'm lucky that I wake up every morning anxious to get to the job I love. I have a wonderful husband and "family" of 2 dogs and 2 cats. I'm an avid crafter who loves to create just about anything! I'm a crafter for fun and for competition. I compete yearly in the State Fair along with my family in various categories. It's loads of fun for all of us! I spend quite a bit of time watching movies and TV as well. I love to be entertained by the best of Hollywood! I grew up in Wisconsin and Arizona. I consider both states my home. I love so many parts of both, I can't decide which one gets the home state vote. In the future, I hope to travel to more corners of the world and earn my masters degree.

I'd like to meet:

I am looking for people with similar interests. I would really love to chat with other travelers to share experiences and places to visit. I'm sure we all have our favorite corner of the globe that we'd like to share with others. I'm also looking for crafters with new ideas or techniques. I'm working on a craft project just about everyday. New ideas are always needed to solve a creative brain freeze. I would love to find a friend with similar TV interests, too. I would love to analyze storylines, characters, or just swap favorite episodes. If there are any John Irving fans out there, drop me a message! I love his books and would love to discuss them with someone. Being a teacher, I would love to network with other teachers. I'm always looking for a great lesson plan or classroom resource. So if you are a traveler, crafter, reader, teacher or a pyscho Office fan, contact me!
I'd also love to meet the cast of The Office! Their characters are hilarious and so is the show! Especially, John Krasinski!
