About Me

This is an invitation to all of you who want to have a good time out in LA...good music, good people, and a socially conscious vibe... 2012 is coming... 2012 is here...A group of revolutionary minded people have gotten together to create a monthly event known as 2012. 2012 is the year that the Mayan calendar completes its cycle. It is prophesized that there will be a rebirth of culture and consciousness throughout the world brought on by the changes in energy coming from the sun. This change, or, evolution in consciousness is not the end of the world how some European cultures have described it. Rather, it is just the very beginning of a new way of life, a new way to see, feel and live life...Our intent is to organize monthly events that bring together performers and vendors that will work together to promote the advancement of our underground artists... we can't depend on the industry to promote our artists, our businesses, and much less, our ideas. We need to do this ourselves. This is a chance to network, dance, and have a good time. Together we have many resources. Let's be wise and use them to make a positive change in our world...

Cihuatl-Ce (Xela, formerly of Cihuatl Tonali) - Once a runaway now a youth advocate/outreach worker. Her passion for social change is felt within the energy and urgency of her lyrics using music to reach the people specifically inner city, ghetto youth. Xela brings it raw, uncensored and unstoppable. Educating while empowering & uplifting, fusing hip hop with indigenous sounds in an effort to share some of the ancient teachings that remain after 515 years of colonization so that they may continue to be passed on, never to be forgotten.
