About Me

DON’T BE A REACTIONARY OR A HIPOCRITE! DO SOMETHING!
From a place and time where people still remain homeless, in a region considered to be the largest concentration of homeless forgotten humans. This is an era (or when hasn’t it been) of corrupt politicians fueled with greed inspired by individualistic power, and yet the puppeteer developers run business as usual like real gangs, mafias. Sometimes you can see the old buildings in downtown, stained with the fingerprints of Jan Perry and Ted Hayes the paid pseudo homeless man.
Perry and politicians of City Hall believe they deserve to be where they belong in power convinced that they are actually doing humanity a favor and yet homeless people & others are believed to be of the disposable, throw away society. Corrupt politicians like Antonio Villaraigosa, Alex Padilla and Jan Perry smile away into the plastic cameras while the lens that helps film the sickness sells away its people to gentrification and police brutality.
Some times you smell and sense the false generosity of these so called community organizations who say one thing and do some thing else.
It’s a time where the “they’s” disguise themselves as grassroots organizations, but yet they have an undertone to what they write in their “Latino” newsletters.
Do sheriffs and bike gangs run the new “death meth” business? Are local community members, who say , “they are making it,” are actually assimilating and leading a gentrification campaign against its own community? What do these “vendidos” have planned for the Rosehills Projects in East L.A? Who’s involved? Mr. plastic Smile, “I’m not Native Chicano No More (Villaraigosa).” Yes, this is a time where we are told we are Hispanics and Latinos but yet 90% of our communities are Indigenous, Native, Chican@s, and NDN. Why are they lying to us? Why are we accepting this? Is it important? HMMMM…WHAT HAPPEN TO THE WALK OUTS? Are you going to vote? Why? Aren’t they the same TWO HEADED BEAST? Oh yeah the lesser of evils! Does shit ever change in the barrio? That’s right they want us to build homes, take care of their kids, cook for them and yet we are labeled a national threat. By who? The Minute Men? I.C.E? S.O.S? K.K.K? Use one, the fast food theory or microwave theory? We’ll change it quicker this way for only some. Right! What happen to the rest like native tribes who remain poor? Or the barrios where they keep putting more murderous cops? Here is a proposition. Liberation is a life time process, so lets keep it real, at a grassroots level, after all it must begin from the bottom and not from the top. The people, El Pueblo…Tha Masses… Awakening The Warrior Spirit Tour lands in the West Side 02/07

CHUMASH AZTLAN- Elders from the Chumash and Tongva nations gave their medicine through songs and stories, while the youth and local families made a circle for a Native way of “prayer” to the Great Spirit of all at the Virginia Park community center.
With the appearance of Tezozomoc, who launched his verbal spoken word tecpatl in Nahuatl. Quese Imc and Tactile gave the youth from the barrio something they’ll never forget, some old native songs with some “off the head” spoken word.
Along with the set of Tha Masses, featuring XMMP force on vocals and percussions, Happy Frejo on vocals, Tha Art of Xpression young duo of breakers, Quese joining 20 20 to the finishing set of "Micco Rebels From The Sun." They gave an incredible performance of a warrior within.
Throughout the night, a dialog with 20 20, he said, “What Hector is doing is giving us the critical thinking part of the event, we can’t keep having events with no messages or something to at least establish a foundation or alternative for people who come seeking fulfillment, they have to at least leave home with idea and purpose.” Something to think about and really take in mind.
“It was inspiring to see these young ones from the West Side faces lid up and with that one young sister and two brothers that approached me after the event, asking me for advice on how they can take their game to the next level, I was moved, we didn’t reach the whole community on this round but at least we reach those who were there”-20 20
Two weeks prior to the event a young man was gun down at the corner of the Virginia Park where the event took place. The ongoing gang violence leaves communities confused , angry and afraid to look for solutions. Politicians pretend to be doing something to prevent this type of violence by putting more police on the streets, spending large portions of money on building concentration camps instead of working directly with the communities and by ignoring the problem of poverty drenched communities. We know that there needs to be to be more direct action with our young warriors who are misguided by the mislead.
Our love goes out to you and your family and the light you carry may it cure the young man who took your life from the poison called “colonization.”
