About Me

Hi, I'm Gary Jones. I founded Groove Laboratories as a local Danville, IL, electronica studio/artist - in 2002. It all started as a side project to give me an outlet for my Inner Techno side and my fondness for synthesizers. I play guitar in 2 local blues bands "the Goodfella's" and "Deeper Blues" with Lane Baldwin. But I just can't stop makin' beats and tweakin' knobs.
So now I have a box of master tapes to go through 'cause I plan on releasing a full length CD. It's about 4 or 5 songs short right now, but new beats are in the machine as I type this. The blog will be updated frequently about the progress, so check there often.
