The song that is playing, is dedicated to my Brother-in-law Michael who passed away. He will forever remain in my heart!
I love to read and could probably read a good book in a day, if I had the time. I love getting immersed with the characters and sometimes think about their situation and how it will work out, during the course of the day. The sad part? When a book that you wish would go on forever, ends,...as you turn the last page.
It's a strange thing about Writers. We tend to worry when we get in what we call a "dry period" from time to time. The more you try to write, the less it happens. I learned a long time ago, to just let go for a while, because it's amazing how as soon as I become inspired, the words just flow from my thoughts on to the paper and voila".....the dry spell has ended....that is until the next time:) lol
Writing is one of the loves of my life and is very important to me.
Though not of Native American descent, I have been adopted as a "Sister in Spirit." I feel a definite kindred and spiritual connection
I have a web site that I believe is truly a reflection of who I am and would love for you to visit, when time permits. My writings are about love, friendship, inspiration, our brave Men and Women in the Military(past and present) and Native Americans. The name of my web site is: Shayna's Pages Created With Love and the address is: http://www.angelfire.com/ma/shayni/links3.html
I'd like to meet:
That's a very interesting question. There are two people that I've spoken with online since 1998. We've shared so many things together.....weddings, births, deaths, day to day events and it would be so nice, just to see them face to face....to smile and see their smile and to give a nice warm hug, to thank them for being there for me over the years.
I know this will probably sound strange...not to me, but to you:) I'd like to meet George Foreman, so we could share a hamburger and I could get a great big hug. Don't ask, but those who know me well, know I'm serious about this...very very serious!..lol

Heroes:
My Parents. My Mom was my best friend. I could talk to her about anything. All I had to say to her was: Put yourself in the "Friend" mode instead of being Mom and she was always there for me. My Dad worked hard every day of his life to provide us with a roof over our head and put food on the table. He was the kindest and most gentle Man you could ever meet. I was blessed to have both as parents and I miss them very much!
