Hi,I am Gertie, but mostly being called Here comes trouble by my friends.
I am originally from Sweden but as of 2002, I moved to the US, to the big state of Texas.
It was a big adjustment, with a lot of things.
My older sister, Lillan and I, have our heritage from the Saami Nation, the Native people of Scandinavia and joining part of Russia. In many ways my nation have been going thru alot, just like my native brothers and sisters here on the Turtle Island.
Today, I am grateful that we, in Sweden, learn English, from such early age as 7 y/o at some places in the public school system, even younger in the private schools, with kindergarden. But despite that, it can be a language barrier at times, because I have learned the brittish english and not the american...
Let me give you an example...Here in the US, you order grits for breakfast and you get a porridge served....don't ever do that in the UK, it means womens underwear/bloomers...and having that on a plate infront of you at breakfast is nothing I recommmend.
I am easy going and am a happy person most of the time, especially when I dive into some of my craftwork or homedesign.
But at the same time, I am very shy when I meet new people, and it doesn't matter if it is on the computer or in real life. I get my tongue and fingers stucked with super glue..But when I get to know a person, and feel comfortable around them, there is no stop of my crazyness, but don't that fool you, because I do manage to be serious at times too.
I love being outdoor, but unfortunately that is also a huge difference here comparing to Sweden.
In Sweden we have a very unique "law", which gives you the right to walk or camp for one night anywhere as long as you do not destroy or disturb anything..and also we do not have many dangerous animals..we only have one poisonous snake, and it is not deadly to adults...otherwise I would not be sitting here typing this.
There is so much to write about me..and there ain't space for it all..so ask me if there is anything you want to know.
Ooops almost forgot..if you are thinking about adding me, just to get one more number on your friendslist...don't bother...and don't waist my time, if you are trying to showel your religous beliefs down my throat..I have my own, and am happy with it.
