The Pye Project

About Me

Over the past few years brothers Justin & Aaron Pye have been developing, writing, and crafting their music, formulating not only a distinctive sound and style but also an incredible selection of original songs.
Both Aaron & Justin grew up on Norfolk Island, and when Aaron left the island six years ago, they forged a long distance musical relationship - the internet serving as a useful vice for a group separated by sea.
Recently Aaron & Justin have set up base in Sydney, and after six years of swapping lyrics, riffs and demos across the world wide web, they are now preparing to record their debut album.
Along with their sister Mardi they form "The Pye Project" - The music draws on a wide variety of musical genres and artists, both popular and alternative - from Buddy Miller to Sting, Counting Crows to Steve Earle. This blend of influences results in a sound that is truly distinctive - and that refuses to be pigeon-holed...alert('What that'); ..
