About Me
Hi, my name is Stefanie, but most people call me STEFFI. I'm a pre-op TS & fun-loving party girl! Voted Miss Sparkle 2005 at the International Transgender Celebration held in Manchester.Although born anatomically male, I realised from an early age that I had an urge to behave and look like a GIRL.... you could say it's in my blood. The older I grew, I realised I had little in common with boys my own age and went through long periods of 'trying to conform' "...unsucessfully!Now, I completely embrace my feminine persona and live life to the fullest. I have a Masters degree and work in the media as a Television Producer/Director. Our broadcast television production
unit makes a variety of network and
regional documentaries, features and
highlights programmes plus live outside
broadcasts. (BBC / Channel 4 / Sky /
Granada / ITV / Meridian). We work
extensively overseas with broadcasters
such as ESPN (Far East), Supersport
(Africa) and Fox (Australia) I love my job, each day is different; I meet lots of interesting people and my programmes are seen by millions of people around the world!Four years ago, I began socialising as Steffi and in November 2006, I began my RLT (Real Life Test) now living and working fully as a FEMALE, 100% of the time. Happily, my friends, family & work colleagues have all been extremely supportive. Finally, I feel in touch with my inner-self!One of my main interests is clubbing & funky/vocal house music. I'm a self-confessed dance-crazy party girl and you'll regularly find me dancing on the podium at my favourite club... SPEEDQUEEN in the UK. I love really chunky funky house and the Dj I admire the most is my friend DE-HOOCH, she's quite simply the BEST! In recent times, I've fallen in love with IBIZA and visit as often as possible just to feel that party vibe! My favourite venues are EL-DIVINO, ES PARADIS, SPACE, BORA-BORA, PACHA... IN the UK, GARLANDS, ESSENTIAL, FEDERATION, PACHA ... but none come close to SPEEDQUEEN! I also like sport especially tennis, running and skiing.I live near the fabulous city of NEWCASTLE upon Tyne; it's a lively and cultural place to be. Newcastle was once voted one of the top 10 party cities anywhere in the world by 'Q' Magazine, so there's never a shortage of things to do!"Life might not be the party you hoped for, but while you're here, you might as well DANCE!"I have a Flickr group at: http://www.flickr.com/groups/new_girl_revolution/
