we are GRIMM. We don..t tell fairy tales. We make the music that we
like and lucky as we are, there seem to be some more people out
there, who like what we do too. As there is an obvious need to
categorize your work so that listeners who don..know you can get
an idea what the band sounds like we decided, that the category
INDUSTRIAL suets us best at the moment. We do not really
know where industrial starts and ends. That suits us too.
Romantic as we are, we sometimes tend to do hommages of that
classic once called independend now called classic ..gothic.. style
of the first generation. That also fits very well to the lyrics that come deep down
from the dark rotten soul of our vocalist Jan as he reflects on living
on a black planet. :-) We also do like a lot of different other
musicstyles and artists from different genres stretching from Nelly Furtado (YES!) to PANTERA and a lot of those influences end up in our own songs too. Maybe that..s why some people say that every single of our songs sounds different. That..s how we keep it interesting for ourselves. GRIMM is not really interested in being part of only one special scene or fashion. We never had a special interest in uniforming ourselves. GRIMM is just about making the best music and songs we are able of while discovering our own abilities and limitations. At the moment we are working on our first album. That album is quite close to completion now. Hopefully we will have it ready in the spring of 2008 or maybe even sooner. Thanks for checking out our page. We are always
