Reverend Brian's A Wild Downer

I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I think of myself as somewhat of a cross between Penn Jillette and George Carlin. Better looking than both, but with none of the talent of either. This means that I'm a vocal atheist, that loves erotica (especially of the sapphic variety), likes artful use of obscene language, takes great enjoyment out of seeing stupid people get what they deserve and am entertained by science books and fart jokes.
Some other Brian-Fun-Facts® include:

I have been ordained by the Universal Life Church.
I don't talk unless I have something worth saying.
I'm not very tolerant of stupidity and irrationality.
I don't believe in the phrase "too much information".
I'm left-handed, but play guitar right-handed.
I like a lot of things that everyone else hates.
I'm incredibly resistant to any new forms of slang.
I like a lot of things that everyone else likes.
I can't stand drunks.
I went to school to learn audio production.
I learned all my social skills from Married...With Children.
I spend a lot of time babysitting my sister with Down syndrome.
I don't really like scary movies.
I love songs about scary movies.
I suck at staying awake.
I think the Judeo-Christian God is one of the most unpleasant characters in all of literature.
I like animals, as long as someone else feeds and cares for them.
I procrastinate.
I'm too serious according to some people. (They're wrong)
I'm too realistic according to some people. (They're right)
I like video games but am very picky about which ones I like.
I think too much.
I love cartoons and anything involving super heroes.
I like cheap food.
I hate shaving.
I don't get out much.
I'm terrified of getting lost.
I hate driving.
This is a work in progress. Tell me if you have any suggestions

Justice is the only worship.
Love is the only priest.
Ignorance is the only slavery.
Happiness is the only good.
The time to be happy is now,
The place to be happy is here,
The way to be happy is to make others so.

My Interests

skepticism, mythology, electronic gadgets, sleep, TV, science, video-games, history, sci-fi, guitars, odd flavored sodas, comic books

I'd like to meet:

Intelligent people.

Musicians interested in forming a band that's similar to any of the ones listed in my Music section. And if you're going to send me a Friend Request send me a fucking message! Adding someone and then expecting them to be the ones to message you is like walking up to someone, tapping them on the shoulder and then expecting them to start a conversation!
People who will buy me things.

And the following people: Penn & Teller, all of the Mythbusters, Willie Nelson, Kinky Friedman, James Randi, Phil Plait (who commented on my profile), Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, PZ Myers, Christopher Hitchesn, John Lowery AKA John 5, Steve Burns (who has replied to an e-mail of mine), Stephen Colbert, David Cross, George Carlin and more to come.

Who I'd NOT like to meet:

People who agree to meet you and then spend the entire time dicking around on their fucking cell phone.
Women who're proud of how bitchy they are. They think that being a bitch makes them unique and cool. It doesn't. Trust me there is no shortage of irrational and belligerent women (or men) in the world. They're not special.
People who type using cute internet jargon. It makes me nauseous to read. And using it sarcastically is no less annoying.
Anyone who brags about how much they drank, smoked or whatever. The list of things i care less about is a very short one.
People who pretend to be depressed. I group you right along with people who park in handicap parking places. There are people who really are depressed and you people prevent others from recognizing that they have a problem and getting them help.
Anyone who doesn't believe in evolution. I know it's not your fault that you've been brainwashed into believing all sorts of stupid supernatural bullshit, but i just don't have the patience to deal with it.
People who say "don't judge me". To judge means to form an opinion, telling people not to do that makes just as much sense as saying "don't see me!". It's moronic, and you're a moron if you say it.
People who say "too much information". If i have to censor myself around you then i'd rather just not waste my time.
