I am here for Friends

About Me

My space . . . It's pretty quiet, pretty big, natural lighting, natural floors. There's a table set for feasting, but I'm not so good with chores. There's bars on all the windows, but I hate to lock the doors.
My space is an altar. A playpen. A laboratory for Beauty and Truth.
And what do I do? I'm a Momma. I'm a loving and faithful Wife. I work to make our house a Home. My cup runneth over as I boil down the stock. I really live to cook. I love to laugh. Love to be outside. I keep an eye on the stars. I keep my feet on the ground. I love to dance.

My Interests

Being present.

I'd like to meet:

People with bellybuttons.

Music:

As the soundtrack to life,
I love it all.
But silence rings my bell.

Books:

Currently reading: Woman: An Intimate Geography by Natalie Angier

Heroes:

People who do the dirty work with a clean heart. People who ride bikes when its easier to drive. Those who are free from judgement and attachment. My Grandpa, who taught me, "if you're going to do it, do it right, the first time." And my other grandpa, who did it all wrong the second time. All the animals. All the angels. And each of us content to be something inbetween.

How To Take Your Oatmeal Seriously
