I like counting speedlines and hatch lines when I'm inking them in.
I also enjoy spinning a 11x17 pencilled page over and over on my drawing table as I ink.
I like to hold my breath when I have the need to ink hair.
I enjoy using stencils to a point that'll drive any anyone else crazy.
My least favorite part of inking is erasing. So to make it fun, I use Kneaded Rubber erasers... 5 to 6 of them all bunched up together so it's a bigger handful. And with each stroke of the eraser, I take off more pencil than if I just used one. The big chunk of erasers covers more surface area. Pure genius!
And when I use too much ink, I just just sit there and watch the blob of ink on the bristol board dry.
Time flies when you're having fun!
