Look, love and always remember
a good traveler has no fixed plans
and is not intent upon arriving
a good artist lets his intuition
lead him wherever it wants
a good scientist has freed himself of concepts
and keeps his mind open to what is
thus the master is available to all people
and doesn't reject anyone
he is ready to use all situations
and doesn't waste anything
this is called embodying the light
what is a good man but a bad man's teacher?
what is a bad man but a good man's job?
if you don't understand this, you will get lost
however intelligent you are
it is the great secret
yes, please - if it's good I like it.
"Gimme some suga' baby!"
soccer, news and funny stuff.
I will read anything by
James Thurber
over and over and over again. He uses these letters we all know to form words in such a clever order.
P.G. Wodehouse,
whose stories wrap themselves into knots of comical irony as if it's normal.
(both of the aformentioned authors are quite fun to read aloud)
I have always loved C.S. Lewis, and recently devoured 3 of his books (Out of the Silent Planet, Prelandrea, and That Hideous Strength)
I go on reading rampages. In the past couple weeks I've read 4 books. Got any suggestions?
I admire and respect my friends... especially:
Mac "I've gotta put some pants on, before the cops get here" Chase,
Hozay "Eugene has yet to produce a decent prostitute" Caranza,
Drew "you smell like a gnome" Sprouse,
(generally people who make me laugh)
That lady named Auby who baked me this amazing birthday cake when I asked her to...
... and my parents,Frank and Louisa of course!
