Hello! My name is Hermione Jane Granger. I am 17 and I am in my 7th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! I absolutely LOVE books and studying! ::laughs:: My best friends Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley think I study too much! Anyway, my parents names are Jim and Catherine Granger. They are both dentists and are Muggles, which makes me a Muggleborn or 'Mudblood' from the words of my enemy Draco Malfoy. ::scowls:: Such a little ferret! Hogwarts is my home away from home. My chest swells with pride at the thought of the towering, extraordinary and glorious castle. I feel very honered to attend such a school. My fellow Gryffindors are just like my family away from my own. My best friends mean the world to me and so does my cat, Crookshanks. Me, along with my two best friends Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley encounter many terrifying and heart-pounding adventures. Even though I wish to mantain the rules of Hogwarts I don't regret a single journey I have lived through at my 6 years at Hogwarts. I wouldn't trade any one of those days for anything in the world! My best friend Harry Potter (Or "The Chosen One" certain befuddled and ridicules people like to call him) is the only one in the history to have survived the Killing Curse. A little while after he was a year old, Voldemort tried to get rid of Harry and his family. He survived, yet his parent's weren't so lucky. Since then he's had to endure constant torment and pressure in just living day to day. I feel his pain on his journey to rid the world of Voldemort and stop him from killing any more innocent people. He means so much to me and I believe in him with every fiber of my being. He is very strong and full of courage. I look up to him with pride. I have been and will always be by his side until we see Voldemort gone from our lives and can finally live in peace. My other best friend Ronald Weasley is very dear to me as well. He comes from a family of 6 brothers and sisters. I've never seen a more close and loving family and I love the lot of them like my second family. Even though they are poor, they know how to make the best of things. Ron has always been a insufferable prat *laughs*, but I adore him all the same. He's had his share of tough times and I hope I've been there enough for him as well. I know he has to live in his brother's shadows, but he is a very unique individual who, to me, stands out among the lot of them in his own quirky way. His father works for the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office and it's suits his father perfectly. *chuckles* He is a very humorous and heart-lifting person who is great to be around. Of course I have to mention the one and only Ginny Weasley. She's like a sister to me and I don't know what I'd to without her. I love her very much. She's helped me through some rough times and I can honestly say she is a very dear and precious friend to have! Like I've said before, my friends mean the world to me and someday I wish to be an Auror and fight alongside the Light in defeating the Dark Lord. *my eyes flare up with stubborness* He will pay for all of the pain and misery he has plagued upon this Earth. Someday he will fall...For good.
