Hello...my name is Fleur Delacour. Becouse I vas born een ze spring, there vere so many beautiful flowers surrounding moi 'ome zat moi parents gave me ze name Fleur, which means 'Flower of ze Court'. Ven I'm on holiday or during ze summertime I live with my parents, Monsieur and Margarite Delacour, and my younger sister Gabrielle, in Paris, France. I love moi family very much, and am alvays 'ere for zem. Especially moi younger zeestar Gabrielle. My father is ze head of ze French Ministry of Magic. I LOVE to visit ze seaside in ze varm months. A few of my favorite hobbies are painting, malling with friends, exploring ze countryside, vatching quidditch games, and I do admitt I enjoy every term at Beauxbaton. It truly is a vonderful school! I attend Beauxbaton Academy of Magic, vich is now over 700 years old. 'Beauxbaton' means 'beautiful wand', and our school motto is "Beautiful Wands Make Beautiful Wizards". Ve are located in a zvery varm part of France, and our uniforms consist of light blue silk. Beauxbaton's head mistress is Madame Olympe Maxime. She is half giant and zvery self-conciouse about it, but she is a zvery good Head Mistress. Beauxbaton is a zvery prestigeous school, and is made up of a beautiful palace. In side zere it is ze most beautiful place in all of France. During meal times in ze Dining Hall, ze students and teachers are entertained by ze singing of wood nymphs. Ze food is rather light and is excellently prepared. Ze Chrystal Hall leads to ze house common rooms, vich are all located in a particular tower. Zere are four houses in Beauxbaton: Lizardian, Phoenixfeather , Snarlwolf, and Unicornwit(vich I am in). Each house has zere own colors- Lizardian is green and blue, Phoenixfeather is red and yellow, Snarlwolf is grey and indigo, and Unicornwit is lavendar and blue. Each house also has zere own mascot. Lizard for Lizardian, Phoenix for Phoenixfeather, Grey Wolf for Snarlwolf, and Unicorn for Unicornwit. On ze weekends, ze students zat are 3rd year and over are allowed to visit ze Winchcombe Walk, an all magic village in France near Beauxbaton.Moi school competed in ze Triwizard Tournament I vas the only female champion competing in ze Triwizard Tournament a few years ago against Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Durmstrang Institute for Magical Studies.

Our Academy's building is called the Palace of Beauxbatons, and does not contain suits of armour. Rather than a Great Hall , the Palace contains a Dining Chamber, which is elaborately decorated at Christmas time but in a different style then other Wizardring Schools. The scholastic system at the Academy is arranged differently also; instead of sitting Ordinary Wizarding Levels or their equivalent at the end of five years, Academy students sit exams after six years. Beuaxbatons has been running for 700+ years.
