What's good with ya? The name is Kyle De Smet. Some people know me as Special-K, K-Smet, and or Smet. Right now, at this time in my life, I am a work in progress. I have dreams that will someday become reality, and I will make sure of that. I'm looking to start my own clothing line, but right now it’s on hold, because I'm spending the majority of my time working with a few of my good friends with starting an independent record label called Off The Couch Entertainment. Residing from the Twin Ports area, like myself, the company will be working with a handful of talented musicians in this area who make rap/hip-hop/r&b music. My philosophy in life is, “you only live onceâ€. I have two younger sisters, Ashley and Hanna, who mean the world to me. My mom and dad are two very big heroes in my life, for two completely different reasons. Friends and family are something I couldn’t live without. I've seen friends come and go & I know who my true friends are. I'm not your average person, I'm the kind of person who looks at something ordinary and sees it extraordinary. I'm really into art, fashion, clothing, and music. Fashion is style, and style is an excellent example in which people use to express themselves as an individual. Which is why I enjoy it so much, because everyone should be himself or herself instead of something they’re not. I see fashion and clothing as wearable art. Labeling people is ridiculously pathetic, so don't label me, I am who I am, and if you don't like me for that, oh well? I'm me, nothing more and nothing less. I enjoy writing/making music. Yes I rap, but that doesn't mean I'm a wanskter white dude who thinks he's a gangbangin' thug. I'm as real as they come, I don't pretend to be something I'm not. One of my favorite quotes is "real recognize real"; which is one of the main reasons why Off The Couch Entertainment became one. I kick it with some cool ass real people, which are also my good friends/business partners. I'm very easy to get along with, as long as you're not a conceited person. When it comes to woman, I respect them, cuz if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be here living life. Any one can plant the seed, but only they can bring it to life. I know how to get a laugh out of pretty much anybody and I also get along with pretty much everybody, that's if they’re cool with me. Like I say, “you only live onceâ€, so stop living in the past, and concentrate on what the future holds. That doesn’t mean forget about the past, but rather live for tomorrow. Regrets won’t get you anywhere; you can’t turn back time; but if you can, let me know. When people meet me, or see me, most of the time they don’t forget me. I'm Kyle, that one guy.
